While some of the exercises listed might seem hard, give them a fair try. If you need to, you can always attempt them again in the future. When you challenge the way that you look at your body, you can start to create more positive feelings.

Find a positive affirmation to repeat to yourself during the day
- Come up with five things that you genuinely like about yourself. They can be job-related, body-related, or anything else.
- Try to come up with five things that your best friend might say.
- List five things that you like about your body – they can be appearance or use-based, i.e. strong arms to lift the groceries or the children.
- How did you react to the last positive compliment you received? If you shrugged it off, maybe you should come up with a way to start accepting compliments – you’ve earned them
- Find a positive quote or saying to start the day off with. Repeat often.
