What does body image mean?

The idea of body image is that picture that you have in your head about what you look like. You choose to feel either positive or negative about this image.

We all tend to compare ourselves to those models and famous people that are the ‘ideal’ in society, but comparing yourself to them can leave you feeling dissatisfied with yourself – because no one can ever measure up.
